The company was established in 1971 by Tom Coulthard and Dave Kaigg operating from Low Street Sunderland. We manufactured catering equipment and installed and serviced commercial refrigeration. We also installed cellar cooling and built and installed bottle cooling shelves and wine coolers for public houses and clubs. In 1977 we moved and opened a retail outlet shop in Chester Road Sunderland selling electrical accessories, spare parts and servicing domestic appliances. In 1980 we moved to our present premises at 180 Hylton Road Sunderland building new workshops and office facilities to accommodate the growing demands of the domestic servicing market. In 1983 we started servicing direct for leading manufactures and carrying out repairs for most of the insurance companies. All repairs are carried out by trained engineers capable of offering the best advice to customers, manufactures and insurance companies. The vehicle fleet was also expanded to meet the increasing work load and carry a comprehensive set of spare parts. In 1985 we installed a computer system (which has been constantly upgraded over the years) to give all customers a better service and their appliance repair history. In 1994 we set up a mail order facility offering customers the option to pay by cheque or postal order
